How to repair the broken LED lamp bead

Issuing time:2021-06-24 10:06

First of all, we first disassemble the LED lamp and carefully observe the appearance of the LED lamp bead to see if its appearance is still intact and whether the appearance is burnt black. First, make a preliminary judgment from the appearance. Then, we pay attention to the various wire arrangements in the lamp, and whether it is disassembled or replaced or installed in the wrong polarity, burned out, or the current is too large, or the external force is too large during the installation, which causes the gold wire in the LED to break.

Therefore, if we want to repair the LED lamp beads, we must first determine whether the LED lamp beads are burnt, and then consider replacing and repairing them.

1. If the working power supply of the LED lamp bead is damaged, buy a power supply with the same voltage and current specifications and directly replace each other.

2. The LED lamp beads are also damaged. The damaged LED lamp patch lamps are concentrated in the same working area, and you can re-weld the damaged lamp bead.

3. If you have basic knowledge of electronics, you can buy LED lamp beads of the same model, then use a tool to hold the soldering iron, and re-solder the lamp beads after heating. After all, there are a lot of LED patch lights on each LED lamp bead light bar, and one or two lamp beads will not light up, which will not have much impact on the brightness.

Generally speaking, when using LED bead products, the drive current of the lamp should not exceed the specified upper limit current, such as small patches or in-line 0.06W lamp beads. Be careful not to exceed 20mA. The drive current is generally controlled within 20mA.

Each LED bead has a different voltage range value. Therefore, in actual circuit use, you can use a design to connect LEDs with similar or the same VF value in series on a circuit board, which is convenient for matching resistor elements with different resistance values to achieve constant current effect.

At the same time, pay attention not to connect the positive and negative poles of the LED lamp beads. In general, the longer end of the LED lamp pin is the positive electrode, and the shorter end is the negative electrode. If the two LED lamp pins are the same length, carefully identify the correct mark Positive and negative.
